Meet Eve Roberts and Family
Hi, I’m Eve Roberts — wife, mom of two, REALTOR®, traveler, and an organized, detail-loving trip planner who finds joy in making adventures happen. My husband and I live in Grand Junction, Colorado, with our kids, Bradley and Emma, where the desert meets the mountains and adventure always seems to be waiting right outside our front door.
Our story really began when we bought our camper van, a Winnebago Solis 59PX — affectionately called The Big Monster. What started as a practical way to travel became our ticket to slowing down, reconnecting, and finding joy in the journey. But it quickly became so much more. The camper van turned into our family’s little rolling cabin, a place where the kids’ laughter mixes with the hum of the road, where we slow down long enough to notice deer in a meadow or stars pricking through the night sky.

We pack up our mountain bikes, fill the fridge with snacks, and hit the road for long weekends exploring the hidden corners of the West — places like Goblin Valley, Capitol Reef, Ouray, Mesa Verde, and the red rock trails of Sedona.
But the adventures aren’t only about destinations. They’re about the little moments in between. The anticipation before the drive. The crackle of a campfire. The muddy shoes piled at the van door after a long hike. The quiet morning coffee while the kids are still asleep, when the world feels like it’s holding its breath. These are the memories we return home with, the pieces of adventure that shape who we are as a family.

Awake to Adventure is my space to share those experiences — the traditions that ground us, the trips that open our eyes, and the small ways we bring adventure into everyday life. Whether it’s a weekend getaway, a family road trip, or a holiday morning at home, my hope is to show that adventure doesn’t always mean going far. Sometimes it’s found in the way you prepare, the way you pause, or the way you choose to see the world.

Our adventures aren’t perfect, but they’re ours — filled with laughter, flexibility, and the kind of moments we remember most.
